The Programme Educational Objectives of Electrical and Electronics Engineering are given below
PEO 1. To provide students with the fundamentals of Engineering Sciences with more emphasis in Electrical and Electronics Engineering by way of analyzing and exploiting engineering challenges during their professional career.
PEO 2. To inculcate an attitude for observing and undertaking developmental work both in industry as well as in academic environment with emphasis on continuous learning process.
PEO 3: To serve the humanity with social commitment in an ethical manner to maintain environmental sustainability by effective team work and communication
The programme outcomes that the department presently adapts to are as follows:
PO 1. Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of Mathematics, Science, Engineering fundamentals and Electrical and Electronics Engineering to the solution of complex problems in engineering.
PO 2. Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate and analyze the complex problems in Electrical and Electronics Engineering using first principles of mathematics, science and Engineering to derive conclusions.
PO 3. Design/Development of solutions: Design and development of Electrical and Electronics products/Systems that meets specified needs with the consideration for the public health and safety, cultural, societal and environmental issues
PO 4. Investigations of complex problems: Analysis of complex problems in electrical apparatus and energy systems using research based knowledge and research methods to provide valid solutions.
PO 5. Modern tool usage: Apply appropriate tools and techniques for the modeling and analysis of Electrical and Electronics devices and systems.
PO 6. The Engineer and Society: Apply Knowledge gained to assess societal, safety and cultural issues relevant to the professional engineering practice.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering Graduates will be able to
PSO-1: Apply the engineering fundamental knowledge to identify, formulate, design and investigate complex engineering problems in electrical and electronic circuits, electrical machines, control systems, power systems and power electronics.
PSO-2: To solve complex electrical and electronics engineering problems, using effective software tools and hardware prototypes to obtain the optimal solution.
PSO-3: To explore the scientific theories, methodologies and new emerging technologies in renewable energy engineering, and use this knowledge in their professional development and gain sufficient proficiency to solve the current and future energy problems universally
