The applicant should have studied the graduate course (Bachelor's Degree) in an Institution approved by AICTE/ Deemed Universities.
The degree must have been approved by the KTU as equivalent to their B.Tech Degree in Engineering.
The applicant must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in engineering degree examination. For SC/ST applicants, a pass in the Degree course examination is sufficient. For SEBC applicants a minimum of 54% marks in Engineering degree examination is mandatory.
Candidates who have passed the AMIE / AMIETE examinations and satisfying the following conditions are also eligible for admission.
Candidate must have a valid GATE score.
A minimum of 55% marks for section B of the AMIE / AMIETE Examination.
Minimum Three years of professional experience in the field of specialization after acquiring the degree.
Applicants who have appeared for the engineering degree final semester examination can also apply for admission provided that they have passed all subjects up to and including the Sixth semester examination. Confirmation of admission of such applicants will be subject to production of the qualifying Degree certificate and satisfying the above mentioned conditions as applicable, before November 2017.
Admission shall normally be restricted to applicants with valid GATE score.
In case seats remain vacant due to lack of applicants with valid gate score candidates from Kerala state without GATE score will be considered against such vacancies. If seats are still vacant candidates from other states will be considered subject to normalization process.
