Team Cavallo is a motor sports team from Marian Engineering College. Currently the team consists of 25 members from the fourth and third year batches. The team is currently in pursuit of designing and constructing an Electric Go Kart to take part in the Indian Kart Racing competition organised by the Imperial Society of Innovative Engineers. The event would involve competing against teams from throughout India in many types of events like cross pad, endurance and presentation. As part of this, the Kart is nearing completion and the college had hosted a blessing ceremony on the 5th of January, 2022 performed by the Manager Very Reverend Father Wilfred E in the presence of the Principal Dr. Ruby Abraham, Director of Academics Dr. Samson A and Bursar Reverend Father Sudheesh A along with students, teachers and nonteaching staff. The competition will be between the 11th and 15th of January, 2022.
