  • Muhammed Habeeb of second semester Secured SGPA of 10, for both first and second semester KTU examination, December 2018.
  • Muhammed Akshay of third semester Secured SGPA of 10, for second semester KTU examination, May 2018.
  • The project "Solar Powered Automobile incorporated with wheel chair" done by Aswin R, Febin Ansan, Niranjana Vijayan and Swathy Krishna of S8, EEE has been selected among top 100 projects by KPIT Sparkle 2019.

  • Students of the 2014-18 batch has started a company - TAAD's ELECTROTECHZ with the cooperation of IEDC cell, MEC. It primarily focuses on marketing and sales of home automation products of other companies along with its own products.

  • Ms. Nikhila B Money & Ms Parvathy K U of 2013 - 2017 batch Participated in the following college level competitions arranged by the ANTI DRUGS Committee on 20/01/2016 at MEC 1) paper presentation on "Drug Abuse & Consequences" and 2) English elocution on "Drug Abuse in Youth" She secured second Prize & first prize respectively for paper presentation.
  • Mr. R Gokul Ramanan of 2013-2017 batch (S5) - participated and secured < b> second place in college level regional round IDEA CONTEST 2015, held at R&D conference hall on 15th October 2015 by We School, Bangalore for presentation of ideas on the topics "Start-up India , Digital India,Make - in India, Swattch Bharath". He won cash prize of Rs 1500/- for the same. He also participated in the Grand Finale on 5th and 6th of March held at WeSchool campus,Bangalore.
  • Mr. R Gokul Ramanan of 2013-2017 batch Participated in a one day overview workshop on Internet of Things [IoT] jointly organized by Kerala Startup Mission & Mar Baselious College of Engg & Technology on 29/07/2015.
  • Ms Parvathy K U of 2013 - 2017 presented a paper on "Trends & Challenges in Smart Grid Technology" and secured first prize in district level & fourth in state level for sixth seminar series competition held by KSEB Engineers Association and IEEE Kerala Chapter on 20th February 2015.
  • Ms. Nikhila B Money of 2013 - 2017 batch secured 2nd prize for paper presentation for the title "Large Hadron Collider" for the tech fest "vidhyut 2015" conducted by EEE dept MEC on 02/02/2015.

  • Prof Valsa Basil has started her Phd work under KTU
  • Dr.Vijayalekshmy S, Head of the Department, EEE was awarded Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering on the topic "Investigations on Partially Shaded Solar Arrays in a Micro Grid", by University of Kerala in February 2017.
  • Dr.Vijayalekshmy S, Head of the Department, EEE was awarded "Corps Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Prize" instituted by Institution of Engineers at 32nd Indian Engineering Congress, Chennai on 21st December 2017.
  • Prof Geena Suresh, has completed her Phd course work.
