The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2004 and is the evergreen department of Marian Engineering College. We are a truly core department with a very strong team of faculties with a wide range of experience and specialization. At present, we have 22 faculty members and approximately 480 B.Tech students on our rolls from first year through fourth year.
The background of the faculty members are in a variety of disciplines of Mechanical Engineering as Production & Manufacturing Engineering, Thermal Science, Machine Design, Industrial Refrigeration & Cryogenics, Computer Aided Design and reflect the core nature of the Department.
Our faculties are actively involved in research; large theme projects as well as CII supported programs. Our faculty and students publish in highly rated peer reviewed journals and are being recognized for their academic and research contributions through awards and membership in professional societies.
