This Faculty Development Programme (FDP) aims to provide faculty members with a comprehensive understanding of urban solid waste management (SWM) by integrating traditional centralised and decentralised approaches with emerging innovations in Artificial Intelligence (AI). With rapid urbanisation, the challenges of managing waste sustainably have become more complex. This program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to design, analyse, and effectively teach smart, scalable, and sustainable waste management systems that address real-world urban needs.
