MARIAN SCHOLARSHIP TEST – 2023
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES
- The test is conducted and scholarship is offered by the management of Marian Engineering College (MEC) for students seeking admission for engineering course in the year 2023-24 at Marian Engineering College.
- Attending the scholarship test or securing any position in the test will not make the candidate eligible for confirming admission in any of the courses. However, candidates securing any of the first few ranks in scholarship test will be eligible for availing scholarship, if he/she gets admission through the regular admission process.
- The scholarship test will be conducted on 20.05.2023 from 10 am to 11.30 am at Marian Engineering College Campus, Kazhakuttom, Trivandrum.
- Questions will be from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (+2 Syllabus).
- There will be 30 questions from Mathematics, 20 questions from Physics and 20 questions from Chemistry (Total 70 multiple choice questions). Each question carries 1 mark. There will not be any negative marks for wrong answer.
- For registering, candidates need to register by clicking the REGISTER button below and fill the required data. There is NO REGISTARTION FEE. Last date for registering is on 15.05.2023, 5 pm.
- After registering, you will be added to a WhatsApp group on or before 15.05.2023 by a faculty mentor. All instructions regarding test will be issued through the group.
- On 18.05.2023, you will receive your candidate code, which will get published through the WhatsApp Group.
- On exam day candidates should report at College at 9 am. Seating arrangement will be displayed in the college main Reception Notice board. Candidates should occupy their seats on or before 9.30 am.
- Mobile phones, calculators, smart watches or any electronic gadgets won’t be permitted in exam hall.
- Candidates should show their +2 identity card issued by the school and mark their attendance.
- Any sort of malpractice will lead to cancellation of registration of the scholarship test.
- Results will be published within 10 working days after the completion of test.
