Career Guidance and Placement Unit (CGPU)

The Career Guidance and Placement Unit functioning in the College take care of the On-Campus placement activities. CGPU brings students and Industrial community together in an effort to create an Industry-Institution Interaction. The doors of CGPU are open to all the students who are at the threshold of life and are faced by 3 D's; "DREAM DARE DO"

CGPU organizes on campus and off campus recruitments and preplacement training programmes in Aptitude test, Group Discussions, Interviews and presentation skills in collaboration with the Dept. of Humanities and core departments. Mock interviews and GDs are conducted on a regular basis so as to equip final and pre-final students to face the challenges of the recruitment scenario.

To place students of our college in reputed companies in India and abroad
To give proper career guidance and help students for achieving clear career goals
To give information and assistance regarding higher studies in India and abroad

MoU Signed

The college has signed MoU - Institute Industry Partnership with the following organizations.

INFOSYS

Infosys Ltd. launched Campus Connect, an industry-academia partnership initiative, in May 2004, with 60 colleges. The initiative was aimed at deepening the industry-academia bonds and building a strong foundation for the future needs of both academia and the growing IT industry. The objective in launching the CC programme is to enhance the quality and quantity of the IT talent-pool; sustain the growth of the IT industry itself. Infosys CC intends to increase the employability of students and to have a consistent output, irrespective of all variables involved

Training

CGPU enhances not only the employability skills of the Marianites but also the overall development of their personality. Also CGPU organizes on campus and off campus recruitments and pre-placement training programmes in Aptitude test, Group Discussions, Interviews and presentation skills.
