Grievance Redressal
The Student Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) is constituted in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) to ensure a fair, transparent, and time-bound mechanism for addressing student grievances.
The objective of the SGRC is to provide students with an accessible platform to raise concerns and seek redressal without fear, while upholding the principles of equity, natural justice, and transparency. The Committee addresses grievances related to admission, fees, examinations, evaluation, discrimination, harassment, and other student-related matters. The institution follows fair practices in admission and evaluation and ensures that all mandatory disclosures are published on the college website.
Functions:
- Receive and examine student grievances
- Ensure fair hearing and prompt resolution (within a stipulated time)
- Recommend appropriate action to the authorities
- Maintain records and ensure follow-up
The SGRC works in coordination with the SEDG Cell to promote inclusivity and equal opportunity for all students.
Submission of Grievances:
Students may submit complaints to the Chairperson in person, via email, or through the grievance/suggestion boxes available on campus.
